Also known as antifriction coatings, these slippery coatings cure to provide permanent lubrication. They’re made with moly (molybdenum disulfide) for high-load applications, such as hinges, gears, and rods. They fill in surface imperfections for a smooth, dry finish that won’t attract dust.

DuPont Molykote 3402–C Anti–Friction cures when exposed to air. It has excellent corrosion resistance. DuPont Molykote 106 Anti–Friction cures when exposed to heat. Use it for your highest-pressure applications, such as pumps, pistons, bearings, and gears.
